Delora Hall Tyler, an Accredited Public Relations (APR) practitioner, is the founder, president and CEO of First Media Group (FMG), based in Southfield. FMG is an award winning, full-service agency providing an umbrella of advertising, public relations and marketing services. Her agency serves a variety of for-profit and nonprofit entities spanning many industries and the arts. Additionally, FMG was awarded “Best Small Business 1999” from the Michigan Small Business Development Center, “Spirit of Detroit Award 1999” from the City of Detroit, “Pioneer Award 1996” from Detroit Association of Black Organizations and “Best Radio Commercial 1996” from Blacks in Advertising, Radio and Television (BART). Delora graduated from the University of Detroit with a BA in communications and minors in business and English. She is married to Donald Tyler and is a member of Detroit Unity Temple. Furthermore, Delora serves as President on the board of the Rosa Parks Scholarship Foundation and is an executive board member with the Lula Belle Stewart Center.
